Easy to use and store

I bought this a few months ago because of its size and easy storage of blades. Best purchase. It's light weight and compact and performs excellently. Small footprint means it could easily be stored on the countertop but since it's so light weight I don't have any difficulty lifting from a bottom cabinet. It's a win win!

ONE OF THE BEST APPLIANCES I OWN!

This great food processor has save me so much time and energy! It chops and slices vegetables with ease for salads, dishes, casseroles and healthy potato chips. I love the way it shops or slices apples and other fruits to make wonderful fruit salads and dishes. I usually use my KitcheAid stand mixer for big batches of bread and cookie dough but this is perfect for half batches and pizza dough. It has also helped me be much more creative and efficient with food preparation. I love that I can store everything right in the processor so everything I need is right there and no more hunting for what you need. The only suggestion I have for KitchenAid is to continue what you are doing - making high quality, efficient tools for the beginner or seasoned chef.

Perfect size, easy to clean, stores compactly, blades could be more durable, blades do not seem to completely puree cottage cheese ( I primarily use food processor for cottage cheese pancakes) but very satisfied so far.

I have had this for two weeks. I've made stir fries, hash browns, salads etc. and love the way it works. I look forward to making bread with it this weekend. I like that it isn't noisy. I also like that there are 2 reversible blades and 2 hooks. The 7 cup capacity is more than sufficient for 2 people. This weekend I will be using it to make latkes for 10-12 people. No more hand grating! Only one small change, the small round tubular pusher can be used for adding small amount of oil or liquids. By adding cup/ounce measurement markings the 7-Cup Food Process Plus would be perfect. This would make a perfect gift to complete a cook's tool box.

Love the efficiency and compactness

I was extremely impressed with the compact size of this appliance. I especially love how everything fits so neatly together for storage in the cabinet. It's very easy to use, and it did a great job of chopping items for my dessert. The way all the pieces come apart for easy cleaning is another great feature. It's much easier to remove the bowl from the motor because it doesn't require a fight trying to figure out how to twist it to get it unlocked from the base as other food processors I've previously used. Overall, I love all the features of this food processor!!!

Perfect Size for Small to Medium Jobs!

This mid-size Food Processor is great for many of my needs. I've used a 14 cup Cuisinart for years but as I begin to downsize it is often too big for my half recipes etc. The other thing I really appreciate about this new Kitchen Aid model is the way all of the blades etc. stack neatly inside the bowl for storage-perfect for apartment/condo dwellers with limited storage space.

So convenient

I love it. I love that all the attachments can be stored in the processor itself. It works great and with it being super convenient and easy to clean and store it will get much more use. It also looks great in my kitchen. The unfortunate thing I constantly do is lift the lid and the food pushers fall out onto the floor. Before long I'm sure I'll get used to checking before I tilt the top. The 7-cup capacity is perfect for a small family.

Easy to use kitchen helper.

I've owned a large food processor which seldom got used. KFP0719 has a small foot print but very well designed. One of the objection that I had before was the storage of the blades. This smart machine stores all of the blades in its own bowl. It has a good lid design that keeps it in it's place. When you go to empty your bowl, it's designed in such a way that you don't lose food through the middle like the old processors. The buttons to operate the machine is designed so it is big enough to operate. It is also dishwasher safe. Easy storage, easy use, easy cleaning all make it a go to appliance. Very well designed item.

to large to store, had problems figuring out how to use everything. Once I did it works great. If I had large quantities to cut or slice I would use it again. I do like I can store everything inside it so I don't have to find things.

Easy to clean, works well.

Got this item free as part of KitchenAids review program. Have used it now for three projects and find that it works well, is not too noisy for what it does, and cleans up easier that some others I have used. Storage is nice in that all of it goes back into it for storage, no extra space needed.
