I got this for my 50th birthday and have waited a very long time for one. I love it!! I didn't know it was refurbished.......I don't think it said that on Amazon but everything seems great (like new). I wish it came with a scraper attachment.

The Big Machine

Was in need of a bigger machine as I use it almost daily to make pastas and ravioli. My original one purchases 15 years ago died. I hopped on Amazon, bought this same one only a different color, had it for 12 days and it died. Trying once again. My issues with making dough is that it sounds as if the motor is going to die when using the dough hook. This concerns me. I have also found that when raising the bowl and there is not that much in the mixer that it has a hard time reaching the bottom to mix.

I received this as a gift from my children a few years ago and had registered but lost it when I had to change emails....:(. My only complaint with this mixer is that you MUST make double size (as in cookies, meringues, etc because the whip and batter blade will not go down far enough to get to the bottom of the bowl. Wish I had this size when my kids were younger and living at home!!
