Disappointed

After using my previous portable dishwasher for over 15 years, I am disappointed in the performance of this unit. The design of the racks limits my dishes to about 3/4 of the volume of my previous dishwasher. Dishes are never dried completely and often are not clean after washing.

If I could give 0 stars, I would.
We bought this machine almost exactly 3 years ago. During the warranty year, we had to have it serviced 5 times. A power connector was bad, then a pump was bad, etc. For the last 6 months or so it's been working intermittently - it fills, starts to run, then sits silent when it should be running a spray cycle. And of course, when we call a repairman, it works fine... For a could weeks.
It's now dead, and we're told it needs a new motor - parts and labour towards of 2/3rds the current retail price.
No thanks. I'm *super* unhappy with this lemon, and the appliance store we bought it from.

I don't think I could be happier with this portable dishwasher, which is a huge leap from the piece of garbage we had by a company called SPT. The Whirlpool is easy to use, holds a lot of dishes, doesn't leak, wheels easily to the sink, and the best part? The butcher block top which is a great additional workspace in our small kitchen. Five stars, highly recommended.

Good dishwasher and gets things clean. The top wash arm can get plugged up sometimes, and I've had the pump get plugged full before...not sure how this happens because it does have a filter before the pump. I've had to replace the pump about a year ago(after 4 years). The door seals need to be perfectly clean or they will leak. Some more sound deadening around the unit would be appreciated. We run it at least 2x day, sure is better than washing by hand!

This dishwasher is a replacement of a much loved Maytag that I had for 12 years. It does clean well but has a couple of annoying design flaws. The bottom rack has a large gap in the middle which makes it awkward to load some dishes. The silverware caddy that came with the dishwasher is ridiculously small. Luckily I kept the one from my old Maytag. I wish I had kept the bottom rack too!

Our old portable dishwasher wasn't working anymore, so we searched for a replacement. We are pleased with our other Whirpool appliances, so when we found this dishwasher we had peace of mind in ordering it. We've been happily using it for about 3 months and love the 1hr wash function!

I've used my dishwasher 3 times so far and I'm very pleased except it good be a little bigger inside. It's quiet. use the 1 hour cycle. I've used the Heavy Duty cycle the first time and it took 2 hours. I haven't tried the normal cycle yet. I would buy this again!

We purchased this dishwasher on August 20th, 2024. It stopped working on September 16th, 2025. The dishwasher fills with water, then sets for 20 minutes with no action, before emptying. I purchased a Whirlpool with the expectation of getting the best product on the market. Bad idea. Talked with 3 different folks today - one from Michigan, then transferred to one from Tennessee, then transferred to one from Louisiana. No one could provide any help.

I purchased this unit to replace a dead prior unit (20-plus tear old machine) and have been satisfied with its performance. It is quieter than its predecessor, and seems to get everything a little cleaner as well. The capacity isn't as good as its predecessor, so I'll have to run it more often.

We did not have a dishwasher in our home so, I finally decided after many years that I would like to have one. Believe it or not, I asked for the dishwasher for my birthday and my husband provided! He gets a GOLD STAR!
This unit is big enough to accommodate a lot of dishes and includes the drying feature as well which is really nice because you don't have to dry everything after the wash. It also does a great job at cleaning the dishes. Just rinse them off before putting them in the dishwasher and go. I am very happy!

We know that dishwashers only polish dishes. They don't really wash. You put dishes exempt of dirt inside this device and you recover clean and shiny dishes.
Contrary to what some reviewers say, it is easy to know when the cycle is finished: just take a look at the Clean LED. Also, for the drying, I just let the dishes dry overnight.

We™™ve had this for almost a month. It™™s almost perfect except it doesn™™t have a shorter wash cycle. But it doesn™™t use more than a sinkful of water so that™™s good for the water bill. It™™s tall enough with a wooden top to use for a cutting board. It cleans well, don™™t have to rinse, and has an easy to reach filter for whatever pieces accumulate.

My husband looked for a new dishwasher and found this one and thought it was what we needed so I ordered it. When we got it he realized that it was meant to be hooked up to the kitchen faucet. We needed it to be hooked up to what we had for our previous dishwashers. It took some research to find the correct hoses to do that since we. Kyle not find the conversion kit that was recommended. Once we got it hooked it works well.
