I purchased this microwave a few months ago. It offers many features that a regular microwave does not. For instance, grilling, baking and air-frying. I mainly use the air frying feature, and it seems be working well. I was able to get rid of my air fryer to clean up space in the kitchen. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is due to it only being 900 watts. Other than that, it seems to be holding up great to many uses. Also, I had to look this up, the fan continues to run even after the microwave has stopped. This is designed to help cool off the unit.

The manual is a trainwreck

We have been very happy with a Whirlpool over-range model microwave for over a decade. My, how they have fallen.... I'm on day one with this unit, and because of all of the modes, you really need to consult the manual. Unfortunately, the manual is a trainwreck. For example... "When the cooking is finished, the display will show the text 'End'. A reminder acoustic beep will signal. 1. After the Cooking End, If you press the STOP/UNLOCK button, takes out the food and closes the door again, the interface will display the clock, it will switch to 1-step door opening. 2. If you will not remove the food within 30 minutes, it will consistently display 'END' for 30 minutes, and automatically return to standby mode and unlock after 30 minutes and it will switch to 1-step door opening." I get that all these things are made in China or Korea, but for the love of all things holy, at least have an English-speaker review the manual. We bought this microwave to use temporarily while we remodel a kitchen. The shoddy manual alone for this unit has taken Whirlpool off the shopping list for the new kitchen.

Just bought it because our other Whurlpool microwave bit the dust after 20 years. Thus one is not as fast at heating the food, but it works. Its gonna take a bit of time to get used to using the features. Its a lot!

I bought this microwave a few weeks ago and I like it. I have tried to find in the instructions why when you cook or heat anything for two min's or more it will continue to run even when it indicates it is finished. So I wait until it completely stops before I unlock and open the door.

I liked this microwave because it also had an air fryer. It works, but the instructions were written like they were written by someone who had never used a microwave. There are steps missing that I had to figure out on my own. I'm still trying to figure out how to reheat chicken with the air fryer. Website wouldn't accept model number to register it so I had to call. After I couldn't find my registration.

Overall, I like my Whirlpool microwave very much!.to be able to air fry and grill in a microwave was unheard of 30 years. However, what could be improved upon is to have the selection panel lit. My self and other family members have to use a flash light to see the required function. I give it a 4 out of 5.

We have used this for about 3 weeks and so far so good. It's nicely made and so far works great. We have not yet used the bake function so no comment on that. The instruction manual is confusing, what the heck is a food catagory. It would make sense to explain what the device is actually doing. Many times when reheating food I like to use low power for a longer time so the food is heated all the way through and not cooked to death but I can't really figure out how to do that. What do the PO1, PO 2 etc numbers mean in the microwave mode vs the bake mode? The manual says in the micrwave mode the PO numbers represent the power used, so PO8 means 80 % power, PO6 is 60% etc. PO1 would be 10% power but at PO1 it wil turn stuff into beef jerky. It could be it's just me, I and my thought process is different, but after 30 years of writing tech manuals, operating and maintenance instruction for the Navy I think you need to revise your instruction manual to be more logical. This unit replaced an a vintage Kenmore that used dual wave technology and didn't require a turn table and worked great. What ever happened to the dual wave stuff. Thanks for your time.

Truly an amazing all in 1 microwave/oven/air fryer

I purchased this early December and just wanted to eliminate a few gadgets on counter top, like air fryer and toaster oven. Well after I tried every option out on this microwave I have found so many new uses for it. I'm now using it as an oven to keep from having to crank up the actual oven to make something quick but takes the oven an hour to complete, takes this microwave less than 20 minutes. The air fryer once I figured out precisely how to set the functions, is absolutely amazing. Nice and crispy just as the counter top air fryer. Has a broiler inside this thing as well to do toast if you want to. Once you read up on this microwave, you'll find it can do anything you want. I read so many reviews from people who blasted this thing. Well if you don't read directions and can't follow simple instructions, you won't like it. This microwave isn't like your typical basic microwave. Be patient and read read read. In the end you will find this microwave will outdo any on the market, hands down.

I bought this for temporary service while we are renovating our house and I am very happy with it. I would encourage Whirlpool to proofread the user manual that is written in the Chinese rendition of the English language, very poorly written. Overall, I figured it out by trial and error. I was impressed to find an air-fryer tray and a baking tray, I wasn't expecting anything as the product write-up didn't indicate any extras. Very good value for the price I paid.

The instructions are vague on grilling mode, also the cooling off mode isn't necessary. I try finding some video's on my model for further instruction. Trying to figure all the different modes, like how to cook and the weight of the meats.

I bought this as my luck previously did not pan out in purching less expensive. Lowes had this it looked nice , had features not needed but thought better quality. Within one week found this had a defect and does not always shut off when time runs out. Reached out and they are sending a new one. Not the same as they no longer make my model. Not sure how it able to be sold by lowes to begin with. My new one should be arriving in 2 to 3 weeks. Lowes will not return any alliance over 48 hrs after purchase. Ty

I've been using my new microwave a few weeks now and am very pleased with it. I still don't understand why the fan continues to run for a short time even when the door is open. Not every time, but sometimes. I have called about it, but didn't get a convincing answer. There's nothing in the manual that explains it.

We returned it after 3 weeks. It kept running when the stop time was over and even when you opened the door. We kept unplugging it, just hoping it would reset. The DOOR warning kept displaying, as well. Unfortunate, since I had high hopes.

I bought the Black All In One Multifunctional Microwave month ago. So far I love it. Having the air fry, bake, roast, grill all in one is perfect. I like not having multiple appliances on the counter. Still have not figure out all the functions. Used the air fry for tater tots...came out great. They were done in about the same time the burgers were done. Baked sweet potatoes and the were cooked just perfect. Cooking holiday meals this all in one microwave is going to be very useful . I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

This multifunctional microwave replaces the old microwave. I haven't fully tested this microwaves capabilities yet but so far, so good as for its upholding standards. I like the safety lock feature and the automatic cool down fan feature that cuts on after the timer counts down to zero which gives the food that you cook enough time to settle from being to hot or overheated. My microwave is at home where my heart is and I love it.

Need more clarity

Air fryer feature does not work right but everything else does no clear directions on how to use every mode clearly like grill mode im lost which insert do i use?? How long does it need to preheat and how preheating works it just says preheat but how do u kno when it is preheated??

We have not had the microwave long enough to use all its features. I gave it a 3 rating due to the lack of instruction detail to comfortably and safely use all the microwave functions. Example: when you select PO1 to reheat a plate of food, the instruction show you have a choice of L (large) or S (small). However there is nothing to instruct you how to switch from L to S. You must stand there and shut off the unit when you sense that the meal is reheated. This is typical of many of the other instructions. I have looked online for more details, but have only found the same instructions.

very confusing

i bought the unit 7-1-25 it has a air fryer tray that says not for microwave use, and another metal tray with nothing written on it. This microwave has a lock feature on it that is very annoying. This unit is taking me a lot of time to get use to.

Loving It So Far!

The microwave feature on this combination applicance works great. It heats through very well. We haven't used the air fryer feature yet (I'm working up my courage)! The settings are a little intimidating at first, but I think that's because it has so many options. So far, we are loving this appliance and look forward to utilizing all of the features to the fullest.
